Champion Home Builders names new leadership, Mark Yost to lead U.S. operations

TROY, Mich., November 1, 2016 – Champion Home Builders, Inc., a leading producer of manufactured homes and modular structures, announced today the appointment of Mark Yost as its President. The Company also named Laurie Hough as Sr. Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and Timothy Burkhardt as Vice President and Controller.

Yost has served as Chief Financial Officer for Champion since 2013. Prior to joining Champion, he served as CFO and EVP for Severstal North America, a major steelmaker based in Dearborn, MI. In announcing these promotions, Keith Anderson, Chief Executive Officer of Champion said, “Mark, Laurie and Tim’s combined experiences in operations and financial management coupled with their passion for serving the needs of our customers will serve the Company well as they lead our growth and expansion efforts in the U.S.” As part of the realignment, non-U.S. housing operations, including Star Fleet Trucking and Canadian and U.K. operations, will continue to report to Anderson.

Yost received his BS degree in finance and his MBA from the University of Michigan. He received Crain’s Detroit 2012 Business CFO of the Year award for his accomplishments at Severstal.

Hough joined Champion in 2010 as Vice President, Accounting and Financial Reporting, and was promoted to VP and Controller in 2012. She previously held the positions of Manager of Financial Consolidations at Chrysler Group LLC and Audit Manager at PwC. Hough is a licensed CPA and obtained her BS in Accounting from Oakland University.

Burkhardt was named Director of Financial Reporting at Champion in 2012. He held previous financial positions with Asset Acceptance Capital Corp., Chrysler and BDO Seidman, LLP. A licensed CPA, Burkhardt received his BA and MBA from Michigan State University in Accounting.
